Responsible Use Policy

Anchor is a private place to talk and reflect. This policy sets narrow boundaries for conduct that could harm people, violate rights, or compromise the service. It is not a rule against writing honestly about difficult experiences, feelings, or thoughts in your private journal.

Mira can help you explore a situation, notice patterns, or put thoughts into words. Mira does not decide for you and remains subject to the limits explained below.

Do not use Anchor to carry out, coordinate, or materially facilitate:

• Illegal activity or the evasion of a lawful restriction.
• Sexual exploitation or abuse, especially involving a child or a person who cannot consent.
• Credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, or abuse of another person.
• Fraud, impersonation, extortion, or deceptive schemes that harm others.
• Dangerous activity intended to cause real-world injury or serious damage.

• Do not access, collect, expose, or distribute another person’s private information without authorization.
• Do not submit content you do not have the right to use when doing so would violate confidentiality, privacy, copyright, or another legal right.
• Do not use Anchor to identify, profile, or make consequential decisions about another person without a lawful and appropriate basis.

• Do not access or attempt to access another person’s account, content, credentials, or subscription.
• Do not probe, exploit, disrupt, overload, or bypass Anchor’s authentication, encryption, authorization, quotas, rate limits, safety measures, or provider controls.
• Do not introduce malware, scrape non-public data, extract secrets, or use automation that harms availability or evades plan limits.
• Do not reverse engineer non-public service behavior except where applicable law expressly permits it or Anchor has authorized security research.

Mira is AI software. It can be incomplete, inaccurate, or mistaken about your context. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, emergency service, or substitute for qualified help.

If a Conversation suggests immediate danger or crisis, Anchor may provide safety information or links to local and emergency resources. Those resources may not be complete or available everywhere. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.

Anchor may rate-limit, restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect accounts or infrastructure, satisfy a legal requirement, or address a serious or repeated violation. A response should be proportionate to the risk and preserve user privacy where possible.

This policy does not mean Anchor routinely reads private journal content. Anchor may act on account and security signals, user reports, provider outcomes, or other information available through operating the service. Content is decrypted when needed for requested product functions as explained in the Privacy Policy.
